Choose The Right Colors For Your Long Island Office
Posted Under: General
Commercial painting contractors with many years on Long Island will have undoubtedly come across plenty of interesting color schemes in the offices they visit. We’ve certainly seen plenty. Which color scheme will fit best in your office? It all hinges on what you want out of it.
Most offices tend to be painted in soft, neutral colors such as beige, light tan, and white. These are seen as least offensive to the human eye. This is ideal for a large office environment where there are many different people with many different tastes. Government buildings and colleges follow this same logic, so more often than not their interiors will be colored similarly.
Speaking of which, have you seen that all government offices - no matter where in the country they are - tend to be painted the exact same color as one another? Isn’t that a little weird?
Along with the offices that are painted up in neutral colors from stem to stern, we’ve seen a fair number that have more radical color schemes. We’ve seen everything from bright neons to earthy colors to Easter egg pastel. These colors are perfectly fine so long as they’re in the right place. Neon green or pastel blue might not work in a law firm, but it would be ideal in a pediatrician’s office. After all, kids will get bored with the beige surfaces and will attempt to brighten them up with colors of their own. And while earthy colors might be ideal for a library or similar place where a soothing aura is good, these colors might not work in a place where some level of intensity and stimulation is required, like a brokerage house.
What sort of atmosphere do you want your office to have? Professional? Unrestricted and creative? Relaxed? Find out what you need, then get great Long Island painters in to get the job done. Unsure?
