Make Yourself Stand Out
Applying for a new job can be daunting but is something we all have to go through at some stage. One of the best ways to get your foot in the door is by writing compelling resume. A resume is the first thing your employer will see and is the only thing before the interview that will make you stand out from the other applicants.
When you apply for a job that you really want to be doing for the rest of your life you should write a unique cover letter for that particular job and role. When you write your resume make sure you add as much experience from your previous jobs that will help you get your new job. Employers have to put new staff through training no matter what, it doesn’t matter if they have 10 years experience because a good employer should follow there set procedures and guidelines and should put all new staff through training.
It is common practice for a big organization to put there staff through training because if that staff members fails to do there job correctly then they can’t be fired unless they were put through training.
