Did you know you could get your OSHA 30 Training Online? One thing that is really interesting to me is online safety training and online osha training.  I was trying to figure out a way to cut cost and maintain our bleak budget this year and was able to find a way to get OSHA 30 Hour Training online.  I was under the impression that for the OSHA 30 Hour course you had to get taught by on on-site instructor or had to travel to get your OSHA 30 Hour card.

I found a site that offers the OSHA 30 online.  Its really easy and you can take the training at your own pace. One thing I really liked about the online course is that I didn't have to adhere to a strict time schedule. I get interupted at the office a lot with phone calls and my guys coming in and out needing something for certain jobs and it seems I am always putting out fires.  The online training made it very easy for me to stop right in the middle of the course and then whenever I was ready I could pick back up right where I left off.  For me, that type of training is perfect.

Another cool thing I did like is that I was actually sent a copy of the OSHA 30 Hour standards. I was also able to download and print supplemental materials for each of the course modules.  They were great to use as reference material later on.  The test was not difficult and the material did a great job of prepping me for the exam.  The test was 20 questions and pretty straight forward.  I didn't notice any tricky or difficult questions.  I was able to pass on the first try.  You can pass the test with anything above a 70% and if you don’t pass the first time you can review and try two more times to pass.  I've since taken a couple other OSHA courses online and have not had to retake a single exam.  If you need OSHA training, I strongly recommend you check out doing the training online.  It will save you a lot of time and money.  You can go to www.oshau.com to check it out.
