Most meetings are incredibly boring, and sales training is no exception. A lot of the times, it has etiquette and terms you know very well already. At times, the coach will concentrate on finishing. Given that you have never heard of a given form of unique approach it is possible that it could be exciting. Otherwise, those of you who have a bakcground in sales will know how to close.

Training on closing could be difficult for a few. This is the reason that a few individuals continue to utilize the high pressure sales technique whilst other people utilize the more contemporary best buddy technique. If the instructor is only concentrating on one method compared to another, you might get stuck somewhere in the middle. This is especially bad if you have had success with one approach over the other. However, in case your company prefers that you choose a different style to sell, then you probably ought to give it a thought. On the other hand, you will most likely go back to what you know anyway. It results in several trainees blocking out training in sales which is concentrated on closing. They are set in their way of thinking.

What would happen if you were in the trainer’s position? In what way can you get the trainees to concentrate harder on the things you are teaching? All you need to do is remember when you were in orientation. Chances are you experienced the same thing. You’d like to consider how you understand already how to sell and do it. To make matters worse, you were probably stuck in some cramped office with the scent of stale coffee flowing through the air. Time was both your greatest friend and worst foe. If trainees remain in same type of environment, are they able to hold information? Of course not. You must do something that incorporates individuality.

Bring your trainees outdoors to help restore their energy and passion. One great option is to reserve an area at a local park. Make the entrance grand, with a banner stating the event, fire pits at the beginning of the walkway or designated area, and plenty of food and drink prepared on a long picnic table. The trainees will feel more like kids at a birthday party than sluggish adults at a training session. The food will be acceptable to everyone, the outdoor firepits will be classy, and the banner will make people excited.

How you structure your workout is up to you, but you should choose the right setting in order to receive the best training. Strategies such as banners, firepits and picnic tables full of food are successful in immediately putting your trainees in the right frame of mind.
